The 9th Essex Beer Guide, which covers the whole of the county of Essex and the Essex postal area of Greater London, was published by the Essex Branches of CAMRA in November 1998 and provided a comprehensive and non-selective guide to the Pubs of Essex, with details of their facilities and Real Ales at that time.

However, nothing stays the same and Essex’s CAMRA members are now preparing a new edition, hopefully to be published later this year.
